Part of Cobble Hill's DoodleTown series, Par for the Course hands illustrator Dave Whamond a golf course to fill with cartoon comedy. The gags extend past the golfers to the wildlife and the landscape, and punny dad jokes run through the scene. Humor and sport share the picture, with creatures and course details carrying the punchlines.

About the image
A cartoon golf course full of sight gags: a tree swallows stray golf balls, a Venus flytrap appears, a monster frog lurks beneath a bridge, and a lightning strike catches golfers mid-round. Ducks file across the road, wildlife picnics near a sand trap, and punny dad jokes are tucked into the artwork.
